Who is the programme intended for?

The cervical cancer screening programme is for all women over 15 years of age. From this age onwards, women are entitled to an annual gynaecological screening, which is covered by public health insurance.

Women aged 35, 45 and 55 are also covered by public health insurance for an HPV screening test, which is carried out as part of their gynaecological screening. If you are already 25 years old and have not had a regular gynaecological examination since then, you will receive an invitation from your health insurance company to have this preventive examination.
